Amy Loving

Amy Lynn Loving, 16, 2503 Racine Ave., New London, died as the result of an automobile accident Sunday, Oct. 10, 1999, at University Hospitals in Iowa City.

Born Feb. 8, 1982, in Keosauqua, she was the daughter of Dale E. and Teresa Ann Marshall Loving.

Miss Loving was a junior at New London High School. She worked at Hy-Vee in Mount Pleasant until very recently.

She was of the Methodist faith and was a member of the Lively Londonaires 4-H group and the school choir. She was a Student Council member for three years, played softball and was nominated for Who's Who Among High School Students for two years.

Survivors include her parents; one brother, Eric D. Loving of the U.S. Marine Corps, stationed in Australia; one sister, Amber L. Loving, at home; her paternal grandfather, Lacy Loving of Stockport; and her maternal grandmother, Velda Marshall of Bonaparte.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother and her maternal grandfather.

Visitation will begin at noon Thursday in Elliott Chapel in New London, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m.

The funeral for Miss Loving will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the New London High School auditorium, with the Rev. David Mixon officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Cemetery in Mount Union.

A memorial has been established.
