Ellen Anna Baker, 81, Winfield, formerly of Richland, died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2003 at Sunrise Terrace Care Center in Winfield where she had been a resident for seven years.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 6 at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Richland with Rev. Mary Horras officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 5 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Gould Funeral Home in Richland. A memorial has been established to the Richland Public Library or Sunrise Terrace Care Center Eden Alternative Initiative.

Survivors include three daughters, Beverly E. and her husband Kent Coffland of Blairstown; Roberta A. and her husband Garry Oswalt, Richland; and M. Catherine and her husband Richard Lauderdale of Winfield; six grandchildren; one stepgrandson; 10 great-grandchildren, one step great-grandson; one sister, Betty Mason, Richland, Mo.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Larry Eugene Baker; four brothers, John Buser, Grant Buser, Henry Buser and Robert Buser; and two sisters, Hazel Swabenlander and Lela Rohde.
