Obituary Stanley Guy McClaran/MacLaren

Stanley G. MacLaren who resided at 3238 Wenonah Ave. Berwyn, died at the Berwyn Hospital Tuesday A.M March 29 1932 after eight weeks of painful illness.
He was born in Mt Pleasant, Iowa on March 31, 1890 and with his parents moved to Aurora, Illinois in 1891 where he resided until 1911.
He graduated from the East Aurora High School in the class of 1908.
On Oct 8 1913 he was united in Marriage with Mabel C. Blackwell daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert E. Blackwell of this City. He Leaves to mourn his loss his wife, three daughters, Jane, Anne and Ruth his father J. W. MacLaren and one Sister Mrs. H.H. Rosenberg of Homewood Illinois and one brother M. F. Mac Laren of Los Angles, Calif.
Funeral services were held at the Berwyn Baptist Church at 1:30 PM Thursday March 31, the Rev. R. Paul Langhorne officiating assisted by the Rev. Joseph Clare, pastor of the First Congregational church at Aurora, Illinois
Burial was at Springlake Cemetery, Aurora, Illinois Services at the grave were in charge of Berwyn Lodge No. 839 A.F.A.M. of which he was a member.
Mr. MacLaren resided in Berwyn for the past ten years and during that time made scores of friends who admired his sterling uprightness of Character and honesty and feel that in his passing the community has lost a Valuable citizen
