Mrs. Edith Doran Funeral Is Held

The funeral for Mrs. Edith Doran who died Jan. 11, at the age of 82 years and 4 days was held at one o’clock Monday afternoon at the Cookes Funeral home. Mr. Marvin Long was the soloist with Mrs. Dan Winter at the organ and Pastor Stanley A. Andersen of the First Baptist church officiated.

Pallbearers were: Ralph Rieke, Mt. Pleasant; William Wasson, Burlington; Leo Jackson, Winfield; Homer Jackson, Mt. Pleasant; E.J. Jackson, Burlington; Roy Crew, Mediapolis.

Interment was in the Kossuth cemetery, Kossuth, Iowa.

She leaves one brother, J.W. Jackson and one sister, Mrs. E.T. Jackson, both of Mt. Pleasant and several cousins and a number of nieces and nephews.
