ANTON JOHNSON DIES IN HOTEL ROOM

Anton Johnson, about 73, died in his room at the Harlan Hotel Thursday evening, evidently from a heart attack. He probably died soon after supper. His body was found shortly before midnight. An electric fan was running I the room which might indicate that he had not been feel well and turned on the fan. He apparently had been sitting in a chair and fell to the floor when he was stricken.

Mr. and Mrs. Johnson moved here from Olds about seven years ago. They resided on a farm about a mile south of town. Mrs. Johnson died in 1944. For some time he had been residing at the Harlan where he was a janitor.

He is survived by a son, Dale Johnson, of Marshalltown, who came here Friday.
