PETER GRABER FATALLY HURT
Fell From Straw Pile at His FarmPeter R. Graber, 64, prominent Jefferson township farmer living 1 ˝ miles southwest of Wayland passed away Sunday morning at 4:30 at the Memorial hospital, following injuries received in an accident Friday evening. He was admitted to the hospital Saturday morning.
Mr. Graber was attempting to crawl to the top of a straw pile when his hay hook became loose and he fell about 12 feet to the floor. He suffered a fractured hip and an injured pelvis as well as shock. Death resulted from shock.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Fannie Richard Graber and one daughter, Ada, living at home. A sister, Mrs. John Widmer, and a brother, Daniel Graber, both living in Wayland, also survive.
The funeral will be held at 1:15 Wednesday from the home and at 2:00 o’clock at Sugar Creed church. Interment will be at Sugar Creek cemetery.
