The Millards

Funeral services are pending at
the Beatty Funeral Chapel for John
Mahlon Millard, age 31, of route
one, Mt. Pleasant, and the two
Millard children, John, age 8, and
Teressa, age 9.

John Mahlon Millard was born
April 26, 1937 at Ipava, Ill., the
son of Leo and Coletha Haynes
Millard. On June 8, 1957, he was
married to Carole Shull at Oak-
land Mills. He was a member of
the Round Prairie Baptist church.

Surviving are his wife, one son,
Sydney, one daughter, Nancy, his
mother, Mrs. Coletha Millard, three
brothers, Tom, Maurice, and Fred
Millard, all of Mt. Pleasant.

Preceding him in death were
his father, Leo Millard, and a
brother, Ira. The son, John and
the daughter, Teressa, died in the
accident.

Johnny, age 8, was born April
26, 1960 in Mt. Pleasant. He was in
the third grade at Van Allen
school. Teressa, age 9, was born
June 2, 1959 in Mt. Pleasant, and
was in the 5th grade at Van Allen
school.

Surviving them are their mother,
one brother, Sydney, one sister,
Nancy, grandparents, Mrs. Coletha
Millard, and Mr. and Mrs. Ben
Shull, many aunts, uncles and
cousins.

The time and place of the funeral
service will be announced Wednes-
day afternoon by the Beatty
Funeral Chapel in Mt. Pleasant.
