Nellie Sodini
Mrs Nellie SOdini, 73, 117 1/2 W. Monroe, Mt Pleasant, died Sunday, Aug 8, 1982, at 11:45 a.m. at the Henry County Health Center.

She was born April 27 1909, at Wellsville, Mo., the daughter of John and Maude Franklin Roppel. On Aug. 29, 1929, she married Jim Sodini who died in 1966.

The Sodinis were associated with the Princess Candy Kitchen from 1924 to 1947. They moved to California and in 1980 Mrs. Sodini returned to Mt Pleasant.

Surviving are a daughter. Mrs. Shirley Henderson, Mt Pleasant; three sisters, Mrs Linda Bachler and Mrs. Ellen Timmerman, both of Fairfield, and Mrs Myrtle Gaines, Alberta Canada.

One daughter, Romona, and three brothers also preceded her in death.

A prayer service will be held fro family and friends at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11, at the Beatty Funeral Home followed by committal services at 10:30 a.m. at the Forest Home Cemetery.

The Rev Charles Comfort will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. A memorial has been established for the American Cancer Society.
