Kenneth R. Wenger, 58, of Henry County Care Facility in Mount Pleasant, died Monday, Jan. 21, 2002, at the Henry County Health Center.

He was born Jan. 2, 1944, at Wayland to Ira and Mildred Wyse Wenger. He lived in Henry County Care Facility since 1979.

He is survived by his brother, Wayne Wenger, of New Lenox, Ill., his sister, Nancy Burkey of Lebanon, Ore.; two nephews; two nieces; one great-nephew; and three great-nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

Visitation for Mr. Wenger will be from 2 to 4 p.m. today at Beatty Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant and from 6 to 8 p.m. at Beatty Funeral Home in Wayland.

The funeral for Mr. Wenger will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Bethel Mennonite Church in Wayland, with the Revs. Marc Hershberger and Phil Slabaugh officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Mennonite Cemetery.
