Marie L. Mosbo, 92, of Bickford Cottage in Iowa City, died Saturday, Sept. 10, 2005, in Iowa City. Born Nov. 16, 1912, in Swedesburg, she was the daughter of Walford and Anna Palmquist Lindeen. On August 12, 1939, she married Alvin Mosbo in Swedesburg. He died July 13, 2004.

Mrs. Mosbo was a teacher at Selma and Rembrandt in Iowa.She was a graduate of Olds High School and of Iowa Wesleyan College in Mount Pleasant, where she earned a baccalaureate and was a member of Phi Mu sorority. After marrying, she lived in Sheldon and Davenport. She and her family moved to Greeley, Colo., in 1957. She later moved to St. Peter, Minn., in 2004. She taught Sunday school at Grace Lutheran Church in Davenport and Immanuel Lutheran in Greeley, and served as an officer in almost all of the churches' women's organizations. She also was a member of Church Women United and delivered Meals on Wheels in Greeley.

Survivors include, one son, John Mosbo of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates; four grandchildren; one great–grandson; and one brother, Vincent Lindeen of Mount Pleasant.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, and one sister.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at Swedesburg Evangelical Lutheran Church in Swedesburg.The funeral for Mrs. Mosbo will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Swedesburg Evangelical Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Philip Borleske officiating. Burial will follow at the Swedesburg Church Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for the A.O. Mosbo Scholarship Fund in care of the University of Northern Colorado Foundation in Greeley, Colo.
