Marvin Rinner 1916 - 1997

Marvin Rinner, 80, Mount Pleasant, Iowa, died September 2, 1997 at the Veteran's Hospital in Iowa City. He was born Novmeber 11, 1916, in Noble, Iowa to Arnold and Mabel (Icher) Rinner. He married Loula F. Johnson on June 30, 1942 in Lancaster, Mo.

He served in the U.S. Army during World war II. Upon returning, he spent most many years farming near Wayland, Iowa.

He is survived by two sons: Wesley of Wayland; and Allen, Little Rock, Ark; two daughters: Jolene Bowman, of Swisher; and Marva Crowle of Wayland. He was preceded in death by his wife in March 1994.

Note: I believe Marvin's mother's maiden name was actually spelled Eicher.
