Duane Lowe, 74, of Wayland, died Sunday, August 24, 1997 at the Washington County Hospital . He was born August 3, 1923 in Hungry Hollow, near Brighton, to Clarence C. and Tillis E. (Farrier) Lowe. He was raised by his stepmother, Alice Lowe. On Feb 23, 1957, Tubby married Marie D. Capps in Bloomfield. She died December 28, 1996.

He is survived by four daughters: Carolyn Ford-Elmore; Opal Lyon; Ella Weir; and Bev Prickett; three sons: Clarence Lowe; James L. Milks; and Clyde Milks. He was preceded in death by his parents,wife and one son.
