Garrison, Claren "Gary" Owen 76 yrs old of New London, Iowa, formerly of Burlington, Iowa died Wednesday November 19, 1997 at BMC in Burlington, Iowa. Born: February 20, 1921. Parents: Loren and Nellie Nugen Garrison. Married: Hazel Sammons at Mt. Pleasant, Iowa on October 26, 1940.

Survivors include: his wife of New London, Iowa; two daughter, Rose Taylor of Lubbock, Texas and Paula Hedges of Eatonville, Washington; a son, Tyrone of New London, Iowa; one sister, Nellie Simons of Fairfield, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Iona Bertrand; five brothers; and two sisters. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery, Burlington, Iowa with full military rites.
