Blythe, Marie 80 yrs. Of Mt. Pleasant, Ia formerly of Carthage and LaHarpe, Il. Died December 1, 1997 at the HCHC in Mt. Pleasant, Ia. Born: February 13, 1917 in Macomb, Il. Parents: Frank and Minnie (Mitchell) Shepard. Married: Harold Blythe on August 11, 1934. He preceded her in death on February 12, 1974. Survivors include: three daughters, Mrs. Carl (Joan) Sudbrink of Glenwood, Mn., Mrs. William (Ava Jane) Waterman of Farmington, Ia., and Mrs. Gibbs (Fay) Lukoskie of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl.; a daughter-in-law, Linda Blythe of St. Louis, Mo. She is preceded in death by her husband, a son, Virgil and a half-brother, Francis Shepard. Internment at the LaHarpe Cemetery in LaHarpe, Il.
