Donald "Glanzy" Frederick Glanzman, of Mt. Pleasant, formerly of Salem, died at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2005, at Henry County Health Center in Mt. Pleasant.The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 18 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, with the Rev. Nicholas J. Adam as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Alphonsus Cemetery with full military rites by the Henry County Veterans Honor Guard. Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. today at Weir & Kimzey Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the time of service on Friday at the church. A memorial has been established to the Salem Fire Department.

Mr. Glanzman was born July 2, 1921, in Mt. Pleasant, the son of Andrew F. and Anna Ridinger Glanzman.
