Edwin BROBSTON, born Mar. 23, 1856, at Mt. Pleasant and grew to manhood there. Died Libertyville Dec. 18, 1939, age 83-8-18. Married, Mar. 24, 1878, Eliza Ann COURTNEY. Seven children, six now living: Clint of Kansas City; Ezra of Libertyville; Illiff of Birmingham; Ethel of Geneva, Ill.; Winnie of Chicago, and Opal who has been at home with her father for the past three years. One daughter, Mrs. G.S. SHEKETON, and Mrs. BROBSTON preceded him in death.

He lived on a farm near Birmingham until 1925 when he moved to Libertyville. A man of sterling qualities, honest and dependable, a kind neighbor and a good friend. Almost his entire life was spent in this community.

Beside the children, he leaves 11 grandchildren and 8 greatgrandchildren. Funeral held Wed. afternoon from the Methodist Church in Libertyville; burial in Evergreen Cemetery in this city. Wife died 1930. Hoskins Funeral Home.
