"The local National Guard battalion "B" has moved into the new armory building on Walnut Street across from McMillan Park even though the $54,000 structure hasn't been completed yet.

All the battalion's equipment has been moved into the armory except the weapons and meetings are being held every Monday. Sergeants Darrel Goddard and Robert Chandler supervised the moving job and now are busy arranging the equipment."
