BIRTHDAY PARTY FOR MRS. VAN WINKLE

Salem - A very pleasant gathering was enjoyed at the home of Mrs. Daisy Van Winkle, northwest of Salem on Sunday, when 52 relatives and friends met at her home in honor of her birthday which occurred the preceding Friday. Those present for the day were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Alexander and granddaughter, Ft. Madison; Mr. and Mrs. John Beery and son, Mrs. Junior Kinney and children, Mrs. Agnes Murphy and son, Burlington; Mrs. Minnie Berry, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Kinney and children, Mr. and Mrs. Verl Van Winkle and children, Mrs. Raymond Vandenberg, all of Mt. Pleasant; Mr. and Mrs. John Vandenberg and son, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Coleman and children, all of Keosauqua; Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Young and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Young and daughter, Galesburg, Ill., Mr. Hubert Young, West Point, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Eyestone, Batavia; Mr. and Mrs. Jack Lamm, Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Mills and children; Donnellson, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Litton and son and Mrs. Daisy Van Winkle and Ed Van Winkle of Salem.
