To Hold Services Friday Afternoon For Carl H. Koenig

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Logan Methodist church for Carl H. Koenig, 62, who died at his home south of town Monday July 16.

The Rev. Jerold Irvin will be the clergyman in charge. Interment will be in Bethel cemetery. Handling arrangements is the Bolton-Cranston Funeral Home. Bearers will be E.F. Myer, Omer Foutch, Lyle Fountain, C.B. Dunn, Earl Leonard and Tom Elwell. Music will be furnished by Arlene Stoner, accompanied by Evelyn McKay.

Mr. Koenig was born Jan. 1, 1894, in Pottawattamie county, the son of Herman and Clara Peterson Koenig. He was 62 years, six months and 16 days of age at his death at the home at which he resided the past 12 years.

He is survived by his wife, Verna; his mother, Mrs. Clara Koenig of Logan; two sons, Kenneth and Kermit, and one daughter, Mrs. Addison Foutch, of Logan; six grandchildren; two brothers, John of Missouri Valley and Gus of Logan; three sisters, Helen Koenig of Logan, Ella Aleck of Omaha and Minnie Franke of Council Bluffs.
