Kermit D. Koenig, 65, services held Tuesday.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 28, at 2 p.m. in the Logan United Methodist church for Kermit D. Koenig, 65. He passed away at Bergan Mercy hospital in Omaha Sunday, Feb. 26. He had been a patient there for six weeks.

Officiating clergy was the Rev. Kathryn McDougal. Soloist was David Dickinson and organist was Kris Chase. Bearers were Jerry Hull, Gary Guge, Marion Maguire, Harold Mindrup, Ron Greenwood and Darwin Robinson. Interment was in Bethel cemetery. A prayer service was held at the Schumacher funeral home Monday evening.

He was born Sept. 10, 1918, in Logan and was a lifetime resident of the Logan area, where he was engaged in farming.

Survivors include two sons; Ronald Koenig of Logan and Randy Koenig of Dunlap; a daughter, Linda Oviatt of Logan; eight grandchildren; and a sister, Donna Foutch of Logan.
