DONALD C. “MAC” MAGUIRE

Donald C. “Mac” Maguire, 72, died suddenly Nov. 20 at his home in Spring Valley, CA.

Graveside services were held Nov. 26 at La Vista Memorial Park in National City, CA

Donald was born October 30, 1929 in Logan to Charles Joseph and Sarah Pearl Fountain Maguire. Donald graduated from Beebeetown High School. He was a machinist for General Dynamics Convair for 41 years. He served in the Navy during the Korean War and was a volunteer for the San Diego Sheriff’s Dept. Senior Patrol and a member of the General Dynamics Retirement Association.

Survivors include his daughters, Judith Pere of San Diego, Janet Maguire of Valiant, OK., and Karen Shea of Bothel, WA.; son, Donald Lee Maguire of San Diego; sisters, Helen Alvis of Woodbine, and Betty Nelson of Omaha, NE.; and four grandchildren.

Donald was preceded in death by a brother, Dean Lavern Maguire and sister, Ina Marie Lineberry.
