13-YEAR OLD LAMB
PLACES FOURTH

PERSIA, Ia.-Thirteen year old, Leroy Buck, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chauncey Buck, of Persia, living in Cass Township, working in the first 4-H project and competing in his first show, won fourth honors in the individual class in the 4-H fed western lamb show held in Omaha Friday.

He received his feeder Oct. 12 and the lamb was fed a ration of shelled corn, alfalfa, oilmeal and salt. The lamb sold for $27.50 a hundredweight. Leroy is a student in the Banner School land is in the eighth grade.
