Looking for any info on a O.Bylsma married to a Bessie. Had a child Effie born 1889 in Orange City according to LDS web site. May have moved to Lyndon Washington. Am wondering if "Bessie" is Bessie(Beertje) Jonker. Bessie and her sister and parents emmigrated to Grand Rapids. Bessie's sister Aureleia had a daughter Effie at about the same period in Ottawa County Mi. The handed down story was that Bessie went to Iowa as a nanny for a widowed preacher that had moved there from Hudsonville in the hopes of marrying him. It apparently didn't work out and she married someone else. I have a photo from my fathers of an Uncle O. Bylsma, and that would be the only uncle I could think of.
