Hi Raymond

I subscribe to Ancestory.com and looked them up in the 1930 census to see if I could find the daughters names for you. I live in Wisconsin but am also researching family members who primarily lived in Butler Co., IA but had branches in the surrounding counties like Hardin. I have posted several queries on the county boards and do keep an eye on the boards... try to help out as I can for a break when working on my own research.

Sorry I can't help more but I'm not from the area or even close to it.

Just a tip for the obit. I'd contact the local library for the town that he lived in. Many libraries will locate and provide a copy of the obituary for a very modest fee.

Good Luck!!!
