JACOB BARNESEUNICE BARNES, NEE ALLEN

Dear helpful friends,

I am looking for the obituary for Jacob Barnes who dies in Harding County around 1871. His will executrix was his wife Eunice Barnes nee Allen. i am also looking for her obituary or gravestone as well.

There is a Eunice Barnes in Hardin on find a grave. She is the wife of IRA Barnes nee some one else, stated clearly. I apologize the name is on another page. Suffice that these two Eunice Barns are not the same.

I am looking for Eunice death info and Jacob especially.

I have Eunice traced back to Indiana, born Quaker, to Zachariah Allen buried in Marshall county.

Eunice and Jacob were married Jan 27 1849 in
Henry County Indiana. The records were from the county with no mention of a monthly meeting.

So I do not know if the local Quaker records will show this couple or not.

These are my great great grandparents.

The children were Rachel A, John W, another daughter, and my Great Grandfather Geo W. 1870 census, Iowa.

They were in New Castle Indiana in 1960

any help is appreciated.
