Have you found any information on your post? I have a copy of the obituary of his father, Josiah. I would like to exchange info with you. I don't have the obit in front of me at the moment. Father Josiah was born in 1800 in Orange Co., VT and lived there until 1816 when he moved to Ohio. He married first Cynthia Heney. I don't know her DOD but she was the mother of all children born until 1840. In 1840 a child was born but I don't know to whom because Josiah (father) married Anna Margaret Miller in September 1840. My gut feeling is that Cynthia died during or shortly after childbirth and Josiah needed to marry soon because he had a newborn to care for as well as other children. I am descended from Marcus born in 1833. I am looking for all I can find on the family before Marcus's birth.
