Sumner Kemp was quite a guy. He was married 3 times. In the 1920 Federal Census for Alden, Hardin Co, IA he was 86 years old. His third wife, Eva D., was 52 and they had a 14 year old son John. The census was taken Jan. 15, 1920 and he passed away in early May of that year.

Maybe Jean Tucker Roen, jroen@prtel.com or Steve Schack, sschack@earthlink.net can give you additional details about Sumner as they have Kemp people in their lines.
