Hi Juanita;
I checked the Marriage records for you today and it doesn't give the parents names just ages and dates.
he was 23 years old and she was 20 years old, thence no need for parental consent.
They applied for the License on Aug.26, 1882. And were married on Sept. 16, 1882, at Iowa Falls, Iowa, by G.J. Travis, the Baptist Minister.
