Bruch, John and Mary

Looking for information on John and Mary Bruch (Hinkle). Moved from PA with 7 children (James, Ema, Mary, John, Magdalane, Catharine and Harlan) in 1855 and lived in or near Eldora. As the story goes, in 1856, John was killed by lightning while sitting in his chair at home. Sometime in early 1860s, Mary remarries to a widower with "a baby girl and three small boys at home and two that had been in the service". I am looking for more information on John's death (newspaper article?), the family and who the widower was.
