Death certificate

I would like to know if anyone would be willing to look up a death certificate on John Snyder? John died in 1900 and is buried in the Eldora Cemetery. I believe John is my relative, but I do not want to order the death certificate unless he is the son of Martin Snyder/Snider/Schneider. If someone is going to the Court House in Hardin County could you look and see if John is the son of Martin and Mary? John was born in Germany in 1841 and I will order a copy of his Death certificate from Iowa. Thank You,
