Barbara Sue Broschel Gisch, 59, of Iowa Falls passed away Monday, Sept. 1, 2008 at Heritage Care Center, Iowa Falls. Funeral services for Barbara Gisch will be 11:00 am Saturday, September 20, 2008 at the Linn's Funeral Chapel, Iowa Falls. Inurnment will be at the Northlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery, Iowa Falls.

Barbara Sue Gisch, 59 of Iowa Falls passed away Monday, Sept. 1, 2008 at Heritage Care Center, Iowa Falls. Barbara Sue Banner was born February 27, 1949, at Hampton, Iowa, the daughter of Neva Blanch [Allen] and James Robert Banner. She attended the Iowa Falls Community Schools and proudly received her GED at Ellsworth Community College in 1973. She was united in marriage to Gary Borschel on September 17, 1965 at Iowa Falls, Iowa. Barbara was a homemaker and had been employed as a custodian Ellsworth Municipal Hospital, and worked at Boyt Luggage, and SMI Joist all of Iowa Falls.

Barbara Sue Gisch is survived by her children: Candida "Candi" [Sean] Holm of Iowa Falls, Thomas Borschel of Iowa Falls; six grandchildren: Chelsea and boyfriend Tyler Mennenga and Nick Nehring, Hannah and boyfriend Jeremy Blome, Jacob, Morgan, and Trystin Holm all of Iowa Falls; one great grandchild: Aiden Blome of Iowa Falls; her siblings: James [Jeanette] Banner of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Robert [Carol] Banner of Iowa Falls, Larry [Karen] Banner of Alden, Iowa, Donna Barker of Iowa Falls, Dale [Violet] Banner of Winder, Georgia, Carolyn [Roscoe] Whipple of Dows, Iowa, Daniel Banner of Iowa Falls, Richard [Cyndy] of Wako, Georgia, and Cindey Rumley of Salina, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents: James and Neva Banner; an infant brother: Donald Banner; and one sister: Shirley Anderson.
