Cindy Cooper, 57, of Iowa Falls, Iowa, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014, at the Ellsworth Municipal Hospital, Iowa Falls. Memorial services for Cindy Cooper will be 10:30 am Monday, March 10, 2014, at Linn's Funeral Chapel, 1521 Washington Avenue, Iowa Falls, Iowa, with Pastor Bob Miller officiating. Memorials may be directed to the family c/o her husband: Scott Cooper, 103 ½ Pierce Street, Apt # 19, Iowa Falls, Iowa 50126. Private family burial will be at a later date at the Friends Cemetery, Iowa Falls. The Linn's Funeral Homes Iowa Falls Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Cindy Renea Van Arsdale was born December 14, 1956, at Chariton, Iowa, the daughter of Harvey and Jessie [Parks] Van Arsdale. She graduated from the Iowa Falls High School. On July 26, 1986, Cindy was united in marriage to Scott Alan Cooper at Iowa Falls, Iowa. Cindy was employed at Boyt Manufacturing, Riverside Book and Bible, Highland Country Club, and the Iowa Falls Elks Lodge all in Iowa Falls.
Cindy Cooper is survived by her husband: Scott Cooper of Iowa Falls; her mother and step father: Jessie and Dorlin "Dub" Frazier of Iowa Falls; two sons: David Crapser of Waterloo, Iowa, Brice [Ruth] Turner of Conrad, Iowa; three grandchildren: Elwood, Donald, and Rose Turner of Conrad, Iowa; two brothers: Phillip Van Arsdale of Charlotte, North Carolina, George Van Arsdale of Webster City, Iowa; a sister: Sonja Van Arsdale of Copenhagen, Denmark; and a 1/2 sister: Marcia [Jeff] Pates of Ackley, Iowa and a ½ brother: Jacy Frazier of Iowa Falls. She was preceded in death by her father: Harvey Van Arsdale and a son: Donald Crapser.
