While getting money to hand to a robber, L. Trimball, a restaurant keeper of Union, was shot twice through the head and instantly killed. Mr. Trimball had been counting his cash when a pisto1 was thrust into his face by an unknown man who demanded money. Trimball gave up his silver and was about to hand over his bills when the robber, thinking Trimball was reaching for his revolver, fired the fatal shots. A posse is sea{r}ching for the murderer.
