Funeral services were held on Thursday afternoon at the St. John's Evangelical church for the late Henry Hiller, who passed away at his home in Radcliffe, Sept. 1, following a long illness. Rev. O. C. Gatrelle had charge of the services.
Henry Hiller was born in Grundy county, Ia., in 1864, the son of Rev. and Mrs. Christian Hiller. He was one of a family of 13 children. Mr. Hiller had made his home in Radcliffe for many years where the family had operated a restaurant.
Surviving are the widow, one son, Lafe, of Los Angeles, Cal., one grandson, three brothers and one sister.
Interment was in the Radcliffe cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Orin Wright of Oelwein and George Hiller of Irvington, Ia., were here to attend the funeral.
SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Oran Alexander Wright was the husband of Blanche Delle Hiller, daughter of Henry Hiller. Likewise, George Washington Hiller was the son of Henry Hiller.
