November 26, 1932-February 4, 2005

IOWA FALLS—Edna Geraldine Anderson, 72, of Iowa Falls died Friday, Feb. 4, 2005, at the Ellsworth Municipal Hospital in Iowa Falls. Memorial services will be Tuesday, Feb. 22, at 11 a.m. at the Linn’s Funeral Chapel, Iowa Falls. Inurnment will be at Friends Cemetery, Iowa Falls.

Edna was born Nov. 26, 1932, at Chadron, Neb., the daughter of Charles and Nellie [Harris] Banner. She attended school at Geneva. She was employed as a cook for many years at the Red Rooster Café and had also worked at Porter’s on Main, both in Iowa Falls.

Survivors include a nephew Lenard Grimm of Iowa Falls; a cousin, Joyce Kirkbride of Hampton; and her friend, Larry Gardner of Iowa Falls. Edna was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Mary Speicher and four brothers, James, Charles, John and Ray Banner.
