Vincent Kramer

December 14, 1923-February 17, 2005

BRISTOW—Vincent W. Kramer, 81, of Bristow died Thursday, Feb. 17, 2005, of natural causes at the Presbyterian Village of Ackley. Funeral services are Monday, Feb. 21, at 10:30 a.m. at the Trinity Reformed Church of Allison with the Rev. Steve Petroelje officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in rural Bristow. Visitation will be Sunday from 1-3 p.m. at the Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home in Allison.

Vincent was born Dec. 14, 1923, in Butler County, the son of Henery C. and Mary (Henken) Kramer. He attended Brushy Mound Country School in rural Butler County. On Feb. 22, 1948, he was united in marriage to Evelyn Irene Jacks at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. She passed away on Jan. 15, 1976. Vincent married Arlene Heise on Nov. 28, 1977, in Charles City. She passed away on June 2, 2003. Vincent was a farmer, mechanic and inventor. He was a member of the Trinity Reformed Church in Allison and enjoyed having mid-morning coffee with friends.

Survivors include son David and wife Linda Kramer of Johnston; daughter Jean and husband Ron Davis of Geneva; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, both wives, one sister and three brothers.
