STATE NEWS

Near Steamboat Rock, Thursday evening, a dog ran out and barked at the heels of a passing team driven by a 15 year old boy named Henry Barnshiel. The team ran away, the wagon upset, the boy was thrown with his head against a stope, crushing in his skull, so that he died in two hours. He was a good boy and the mainstay of his aged parents.
