APLINGTON - Henry G. Kromminga, 82, of Aplington died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2003, at Presbyterian Village in Ackley. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Oct. 22, at 10:30 a.m. at the Christian Reformed Church in Austinville with Rev. George McGuire officiating. Burial will be in the Austinville Cemetery.

Henry was born April 18, 1921, to John and Grace (Mulder) Kromminga at the family farm in Washington Township. On Nov. 26, 1942, he was united in marriage to Lenora Jane Muller in Austinville. The couple farmed in the area. Henry was an active member of the Christian Reformed Church in Austinville, Farm Bureau member and participated in community events.

Survivors include three sons, Arlen Kromminga and wife Carol of Ackley, Kevin Kromminga and wife Linda of Eldora and Delwyn Kromminga of Aplington; one daughter,Belinda Kromminga and husband Art Dutcher of Denver, Colo.; three grandchildren, Gaylen Kromminga of Morton, Ill., Lisa Jeske of Minneapolis, Minn., and Pamela de Neui and husband Dale of Dunkerton; three great-grandchildren, Amanda, Cassandra and Abby de Neui of Dunkerton; and three sisters, Anna Mae Buseman of Aplington, Marion Harken of Parkersburg and Julia Johnson of Parkersburg. Preceding him in death was his wife, Lenora, and one son, Wendell.

Sietsema Funeral Home of Ackley is in charge of the arrangements.
