HUBBARD - Judith Lee Schultz, 63, of Hubbard died Saturday, July 26, 2003, at her home south of Hubbard. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 30, at 10:30 a.m. at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hubbard with Rev. Matthew Rueger officiating. Burial will be in the Hubbard Cemetery in Hubbard.
Judith was born April 8, 1940, to Reinhold and Helen (Ostheimer) Becker of Hubbard. She was baptized and confirmed at the St. John's Lutheran Church in Hubbard, where she was church organist during her high school years. Judith graduated from Hubbard Community School in 1958 and attended a trade school in Kansas City, Mo., studying to be a teletype operator. While in Kansas City, she met and married Melvin Schultz on March 5, 1960, at the Calvary Lutheran Church in Kansas City. In 1963 they moved to the Franklin, Ohio, area and remained there until 1981, when they moved to the family farm near Hubbard.
She is survived by her husband, Melvin; one aunt, Annabel Osthiemer of Iowa Falls; and one uncle, Hillis Becker of Zearing. Judith was preceded in death by her parents and one infant child.
