TACOMA, Wash.—Debra Lynn Johnson of Tacoma, Wash., passed away in her home Monday, March 10, 2008, from complications from cancer. A memorial will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Iowa Falls March 29 at 11 a.m.

Debra was born to Lois and Steve Johnson Aug. 5, 1954, in Storm Lake. Deb attended several schools and was confirmed at the Immanuel Lutheran Church. She graduated high school in Iowa Falls in 1972. She went to barber school in Waterloo and was a barber in Alden and Iowa Falls for several years. She later moved to Kansas, and then to her recent home.

Deb is survived by her daughter, Amanda Johnson, of Tacoma, Wash.; brother Mike Johnson and Cheryl, both of Iowa Falls; and two sisters, Marilyn Abbott and Curly of Madison, Ind., and Julie Johnson of Forsythe, Mont. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lois and Steve Johnson, formerly of Iowa Falls; brother Jerry, formerly of Clear Lake; and a baby brother, Stephen Joseph Johnson.
