IOWA FALLS—Rebecca M. Moravek, 60, of Iowa Falls, passed away Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008, at her home, under the care of North Iowa Hospice. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, at the First United Methodist Church, Iowa Falls. A time of visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Inurnment will be at the Northlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery, Iowa Falls. Memorials may be directed to the family c/o her husband: Ronald Moravek, 301 Lincoln Ave., Iowa Falls, IA 50126. The Linn’s Funeral Homes Iowa Falls Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Rebecca Maria Soesbe was born Feb. 19, 1947, at Iowa Falls, the daughter of Richard Marvin and Evelyn Juanita (Day) Soesbe. She attended the Iowa Falls Community Schools. She went on to attend North Iowa Area Community College, Mason City, receiving her Associate Degree of Nursing. Rebecca worked as a registered nurse for the Heritage Care Center, Iowa Falls. On Dec. 13, 2002, Rebecca was united in marriage to Ronald Eugene Moravek at Iowa City. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Iowa Falls, and the American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 188, Iowa Falls.

Rebecca M. Moravek is survived by her mother: Evelyn Juanita Soesbe of Iowa Falls; husband: Ronald of Iowa Falls; two sons: Richard Dean (Valerie) Soesbe of Eldora, and Ronnie Eugene (Dori) Taggart of St. Paul, Minn.; two daughters: Jennifer Anne (Patrick) Gray of Plattsmouth, Neb., and Chaeli Dee (Travis) Gerrish of Iowa Falls; a stepdaughter: Kimberly Ann Moravek (David) Speich of Marion; a stepson: Anthony Moravek of Jacksonville, Ark.; 20 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and her Papillon: Dolly too.

She was preceded in death by her father: Richard M. Soesbe; her grandparents; and an infant sister: Wilo Juanita Soesbe.
