Funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 28, from the Bergeson Funeral Home in Radcliffe for Burton E. Skare, who passed away suddenly Sept. 25 in Albert Lea, Minn. Burial was in the Radcliffe Cemetery with the Rev. Clair Jennings, pastor of the Our Savior's Lutheran Church of Radcliffe, officiating.

Military services were conducted at the Radcliffe Cemetery by the Cushing American Legion Post. Mr. Skare was baptized and confirmed in the Radcliffe Our Savior's Lutheran Church.

Burton E. Skare was born in Radcliffe on Dec. 12, 1916, the son of Sam J. and Emily Skare. He received his schooling in Radcliffe and Fenton, Ia. He aso resided in Cushing, Ia., only recently going to Albert Lea for a few days.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Mrs. Lester Hegland of Ames, and one brother, Jennings Skare of Story City. Survivors include Mrs. Howard Robertson, Selmar, George, Loran and Ernest, all brothers and sisters.
