CLARION—Ethel B. Lewerke, 87, of Clarion, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2007, at Westview Care Center in Britt. Funeral services were held Dec. 28 at the Ewing Dugger Funeral Chapel in Britt, with Jeff Thayer and Tim Vaughan officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery in Britt.

Ethel, the daughter of William and Gertrude (Nance) Peck, was born June 21, 1920, in Wesley. She attended country schools and helped on the family farm.
