Friday Services for Mrs. Sayer

Services for Mrs. Robert Sayer, 71, of New Providence, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the New Providence church. She died Tuesday at the Eldora Memorial Hospital (12 November 1957),

Dr. Worthy A. Spring will officate assisted by the Rev. Lewis D. Savage. Interment will be at the Eldora cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Willard Martin, Frank Cook, Joe Conrad, Neil Martin, Kenneth Cook and Maynard Chance. Vocals will be by Mrs. Wendell Sayer and Charles Svendson, with Mrs. Fred Mitchell as organist. Flower ladies will be Mrs. W. C. Cooks. Mrs. T. Carroll Cook, Mrs. Harold Minear and Mrs. larence Tatum.

Surviving are her husband, Robert, 84; two sons, Wendell and Merle of near New Providence; three daughters, Mrs. Lee Meeker, Cedar Falls; Mrs. Newton Klooze, Oak Park, Ill.; and Mrs. Johannes Meints, Ackley; three sisters, Mrs. W. H. Kaufman, Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Albert Olson, Jewell, and Mrs. Maggie Oelson, Randall; four brothers, Martin Gabrielson of Starbuck, Minn.; Henry Gabrielson of Jewell; William Gabrielson of Randall, and Oscar Gabrielson of Jewell and six grandchildren.

Mrs. Gusta Martina Sayer was born March 16, 1886 near Ellsworth to Ole and Ella Eliason Gabrielson. She was married to Christopher R. Sayer Nov. 7, 1906 at Eldora. She was a member of the New Providence Friends church.

Arrangments were by the Longenecker Funeral Home at Eldora.
