Fred Dreier Rites at Eldora Wed.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Baptist church at Eldora for Fred Dreier, 79, who died at the Eldora Memorial hospital Sunday. (9 June 1957)

The Rev. Dewey Lamprecht and the Rev. Richard Miller will officiate and interment will be in the Eldora cemetery. Music will be furnished by a quartet consisting of Oren Mossman, Russell Mossman, John Dreier and Wayne Engelking.

Flower ladies will be Mrs. Jess Walters, Mrs. Harold Shepard and Mrs. Chester Vieman. Pallbearers will be Maurice Dreier, Gerald Dreier, Stanley Dreier, Robert Dreier, William Dreier, jr, and Robert Ziesman.

Fred Charles Dreier was born May 1, 1878, at Hubbard, one of 10 children to Herman and Helena Hoelscher Dreier. He was married to Hulda Ziesman March 27, 1901 at Eldora and four children were born to this union.

He was a member of the Point Pleasant Community church, and the Eldora Senior Citizens club.

Surviving are Mrs. Dreier, and their children, Kermit of Hampton; Oren of Hubbard; Mrs. Fern Schwitters of Iowa Falls; and Alice of Eldora, and five grandchildren.

Mr. Dreier farmed near Hubbard until 1940, when he moved to Eldora.
