Idella Wilaby the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Wilaby was born in Adeline, Illinois, January 1, 1865 and died in Eldora, Iowa on February 28, 1912.

She moved to Iowa with her parents who located near Hardin City, and was united in marriage to John Lockwood, July 4, 1882 at Steamboat Rock, Iowa.

To this happy union the following five children, all of whom are living, were born: Mrs. Mabel Gillet who lives near Chapin, Iowa; Mrs. Frank Cable of Owasa; Mrs. Blanche Babcock of Popejoy; Elva and Emily who were at home. Besides these there remain to mourn her death a devoted husband, an aged mother, four grand children, seven brothers and four sisters.

Mrs. Lockwood was a faithful Christiam having united with the Methodist church while in Nebraska.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist church Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. Van Buren officiating. Interment was made in the Eldora cemetery.
