Mrs. Anna Nazor Dies Here Friday

Services were held Monday at the Longenecker funeral home for Mrs. Anna Cable Nazor, 83, who died Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Leslie Pettigrew, where she had made her home for the past 20 years.

The Rev. W. R. Ehlert was in charge of the services. Burial was made in Eldora cemetery.

Anna Cable was born in Stevenson County, Ill., March 12, 1866. When three years of age she came with her parents to Hardin County they locating six miles north of Eldora. Here she grew to womanhood. On Feb. 22, 1887, she was united in marriage with John D. Nazor.

To them were born three children, Mrs. Fleta M. Frisbee, deceased, Mrs. Cella R. Pettigrew and Ray J. Nazor, both of Eldora. Also surviving are two grandchildren, John J. Frisbee of Rantoul, Ill., and Richard G. Pettigrew of Eldora and one great granddaughter, Lona Lou Frisbee of Rantoul. Mr. Nazor died Nov. 21, 1912.

Mrs. Nazor was a member of the Methodist church for 40 years, actively associated in all of the interests until her health failed. She was especially interested in the adult Bible class. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary for 25 years and of the Seventy-five year club.
