Bliss A. HALL, 80, retired hotel operator, died Fri. PM at Jefferson County Hospital. Behner Funeral Home. Interment Fairfield Abbey. (Remains later removed to Evergreen Cemetery.)

HALL came to Fairfield as owner and operator of the Bonn Hotel in 1934. He sold the business in 1938 and for a time lived in Libertyville where he was Mayor for four years. He was a resident of Iowa Falls, Iowa, before coming to Fairfield and still has an interest in a hotel there. Had been a part time employee at the Behner Funeral Home for the past five years.

Born Oct. 10, 1876, at Triumph, Illinois, son of the late B.J. and Mary Ann HALL; married Marie SHRINER Oct. 10, 1938; home at 1006 S. Second. Member First Methodist Church, K. of P. Lodge and Jefferson Lodge No. 4, IOOF.

Survived by wife; children by a previous marriage: Wilbur HALL, Alhambra, Calif., and Mrs. Velma STRINGER of Farnhamville, Iowa; stepchildren: Mrs. Harry FOXX, Ottumwa; Agnes SHRINER, Chicago; Merquis SHRINER, Packanack, N.J., and Charles SHRINER, Reinbeck, Iowa; eight grandchildren.
