LEWIS, Nathan and Rhoda

I am from Ohio and trying to research my family history which has led me to Hancock County, Iowa.

I am trying to find information on a Nathan and Rhoda Lewis that is listed on the 1900 Federal Census as living in Madison Township, Hancock County, Iowa. I also found Nathan on the 1920 census as living in Ellington Township but no Rhoda and he was living with his daughter Jennie and her husband Orville. I can't make out Orville's last name on the census. It began with an "M". Nathan and Rhoda would be my Great Great Grandparents. I don't have a date of
death for either of them but I do have their dates of birth as December 14, 1833 for Nathan and the year 1831 as the year Rhoda was born. I do not know Rhoda's maiden name.

Both were born in Pennsylvania. My Grandparents, Nathan's grandchildren were married in Iowa before settling here in Ohio and I never understood why until I was able to trace Nathan and Rhoda there.

There is an important part of my families history that is rooted in Hancock County, Iowa and I am trying to learn about it. I am hoping someone may have some answers and sees this post.

Thank you to anyone that has taken the time to read this and may be able to help. I may have information that you would like to have as well. I have quite a bit on the Lewis family line.
