SCHULER, SCHAEFER, SCHNEIDER, HOESLI, HASLEY

My grandfather John Adam Schuler owned some land near Garner in the late l9th century. His father was a circuit-riding Methodist minister named Charles, who also owned land in the neighborhood of Garner. I'd like to know where the land was, and whether I could get a map or a copy of a descriptive deed, and whether there are others with an Iowa interest in the names Schuler, Schaefer, Schneider, Hoesli, or Hasley.
